Very strange venue to host a silent disco.

"Bar" set up with many tables, chairs and booths- most people were sitting or stood around a table. I'd say there were about 30 people in the venue at one time but only 5/6 people actually partaking in the silent disco area by the DJ.

Music wasn't great, advertised as 80's, 90's, 00's music but just felt like a weird choice and not the best songs to have a dance to. DJ's didn't really interact with us through headphones.

Event ran from 8pm-1am. Way too long and it meant that the people who arrived when it started had left by the time the people arriving at 10 came.

Karaoke on one channel was a nice idea and probably the best part of the whole event. However even this was ruined because the 3 young girls "working" at the event (who literally just sat in a booth or sang karaoke the entire time), kept putting their names in to do karaoke but this meant anyone who actually paid for the event had to wait for them to have a turn. That seems really bizarre to me- you're being paid to be at this event why are you taking customers time at karaoke away from them? Strange.

But yeah overall I appreciate they can't choose how many tick*ts they sell but I think they could have made the event shorter so more people were within the venue at the same time. And chosen a venue with less seating so people actually joined in the silent disco.

Had a really good night. Music was great and could also make request. All the staff were so friendly. Can't wait for the next one.

Hard to review an event that didnt take place!
Traveled all the way from Newcastle for this and told the Rifle Club reaceved a phonecall canceling this due to illness 2 hours before it started!! Not impressed

Very upset, travelled for almost three hours, bus, hover craft,,taxi, and they cancelled when we got there. We are pensioners, and cannot afford the travel.

Very very disappointed.
We went out of our comfort zone to watch this band, and NOTHING, NOT even an apology from the club.
Disgusted.
