Review of Preston Grasshoppers Annual Fireworks Display, Bonfire & Funfair
The event was far too busy and cramped. All the food vans had such ridiculously big queues that took most of the space up so you could barely move. My 7 year old felt very unsafe trying to get past people, so we left before the fireworks even started. The food van we bought from was a rip off also. Sadly I wouldn’t return, far too many people allowed in, especially as things are still uncertain with covid. You couldn’t possibly attempt to socially distance even if you tried.

Fantastic night apart from fairground prices.
They advertised one price and charged more saying old signage was left up. £5.00 per person to go on the walzers, one ride for a family of 4 £20.00, absolutely disgraceful. Hoppers really need to sort this out for next year.
Food and fireworks were great and the weather was good too

Was way too busy. Still selling tickets on the door when event said was sold out. Queued 20mins to get ride tokens and queues for food and drink were 30-1hr. Had to go without or would have been queuing for 90mins out of 2hr trip. Debris was falling from the fireworks and got in our eyes a few times. Won't be going again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Quality of the food and entertainment was great, could have done with slightly better organisation for the layout of food and drinks places.. for instance if you wanted burger or hot dogs and a curry and rice you had to queue twice in different areas.

Queues for food, queues for drink, queues for fairground tickets. Very badly organised. Love grasshoppers, but could have doubled revenue if done better. Fireworks were good

It was fantastic atmospheare, great for family night out. There was ques that took up most of time being there for food and tokens for rides, there was a lot of babies and todlers that attended and meny didnt think to look down before bargeing past to get to were they were going which i thought was rude considering it was a family event. I took myself and two young daughters to this event bought 15 tokens £1 each as rides were 3/4 tokens each bought cheese burger, regular hot dog and try of chips and two fruit shoots= £15 also bought two light led balloons and flashing glasses =£20 and with the cost of ticket to gain entry @ £21.50 the grand total came to £71.50 and we was there for 3 hours. 45 mins of them was watching fireworks and girls enjoying the gingerbread fun house. Could of stayed longer but a grown man decided to run across feild without pants on it was delt with straight away and i enjoy a good laugh but not with my young girls.

Review of Preston Grasshoppers Annual Fireworks Display, Bonfire & Funfair
Felt the queues could have been managed better, all over the place but no idea what for, said card only but when at the front of the queue was cash.
Ended up being starving and thirsty, seeing fireworks through the trees and couldn’t hear the music and the bonfire was pretty far away to feel the heat….
That aside, great fireworks, staff amazing organising roads and entry, so friendly and helpful and good price to get in, booked in advance, easy and efficient.

Review of Preston Grasshoppers Annual Fireworks Display, Bonfire & Funfair
The fireworks display, venue and atmosphere was worth every penny for £6.50 pp it was brilliant. However there was no parking on site and we were only informed of this when we got to the entrance the parking attendant told us to turn around and “just find a space we’re there was no cones” this is difficult as the entire road (approximately 2 or 3 miles) was coned off all the way along. I wasn’t informed there was disabled parking and when I informed the gentleman his reply was (with a very arrogant tone) “well you never told that did you” but thankfully the disabled spaces are right in front of the main entrance. You’re not allowed to take your own food or drink (including soft drinks) and the prices they charged were absolutely ridiculous at £8 for 2 pints £3 for a single sausage on a bun and it was the the cheap tasteless food aswel it was daylight robbery. The funfair had the usual rides but again the prices were astronomical. It was £1 per token but then it was 4 or 5 tokens per ride hence £4 or £5 per ride and they was over very quickly and definitely NOT value for money. But the fireworks display and bonfire were good it’s just a pity they charged so much for cheap no quality food a lack of parking facility’s and very very overpriced fair.

Once inside you was a captured audience.
Prices was through the roof for the fair.
There was no were to sit and eat for the bad weather.
Food quality was not that good
The music speakers kept cutting out.
And for the price of tickets the firework display was poor.
