Review of Preston Grasshoppers Annual Fireworks Display, Bonfire & Funfair
I have mixed emotions regarding this event. The right ideas were there but it seemed to lack something. Possibly atmosphere.
It was a shame the funfair didn't have anything a little more relaxed like a ferris wheel; and I must say the food vans were over priced with the worst food I've ever tasted! Wish I had have known about the hotpot / chilli inside the bar area!
The music suited all tastes but if you were near the bonfire you couldn't make it out.
The firework display was well put together and beautiful to watch. Such a shame it was only ten minutes long!

Review of Preston Grasshoppers Annual Fireworks Display, Bonfire & Funfair
The food was ridiculously expensive for what it was. The queues were long and time consuming. Not enough staff to suffice. The fireworks were great. But didn't last very long and the bonfire went out soon after. Bit disappointing really. Won't recommend it. The attractions outside were impressive but again too expensive. It just seemed to be about money making. Once the fireworks had finished quickly, everyone left! Kinda sums up that people thought it was a rip off.

The fire works where good but they dragged the timing out and the fire works didn't go on for very long even the security guy on the exit gate was disappointed in how short the show was the bar charged us £10 for a glass of cola (wasn't even pepsin or coca was the cheap roller cola) and a j2o the bar staff didn't have a clue what they where doing the DJ constantly talked over the music and was pretty rude for a family event I think next year they need to have better timing and not leave such long gaps in between different things happening as people with young kids where getting fed up and annoyed

Fireworks were better than ever!! My partner and I met for the first time at this event two years ago, we went back for our 2nd anniversary and it was the perfect way to spend it!
All facilities were excellent and kept clean, all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and the compère was hilariously funny!

Enjoyable evening. Good atmosphere, with people obviously enjoying themselves - despite the rain. Fireworks display superb - we were all sorry when it ended.
Have to say the organisation and supervision on the evening was excellent.

Review of Preston Grasshoppers Annual Fireworks Display, Bonfire & Funfair
Wanted a beer which is around £3.90 which I was willing to pay, anywhere in the world, paying this amount on a card would not be a problem.. However to pay for this measly drink, because I was spending under £10 (bear in mind I had £8 in my bank as I'm a student) they wanted me to take out £20 Cashback and pay for m drink, how does that make sense at all? I would have paid cash but I had £8 to my name... And cash machines only let you take out £10 minimum. So I didn't get a drink.. Instead I decided to make the most of the £5.50 I had paid, bearing in mind there were a few hundred people there, so it's not like the venue had little budget.. I think I could have put on a better firework display in my back garden with £300 and a BBQ lighter. Don't get me wrong, the fireworks looked nice but they lasted all of 7 minutes.. Maybe a little less budget should be spent on bad carnival rides and more on what bonfire night is all about; fireworks. All in all, the best part of the night was the chips and curry I got on the way home. £2.10. Magic.

Review of Preston Grasshoppers Annual Fireworks Display, Bonfire & Funfair
Another brilliant event. The attractions were excellent (even though my son didn't fancy a go on the rides (felt they were a bit pricey)) and the food was first class. The organisation of the event was brilliant too. Fireworks display: top drawer.

Review of Preston Grasshoppers Annual Fireworks Display, Bonfire & Funfair
The fireworks are big but they weren't timed particularly well & no music for most of them. Couldn't get near bonfire as so busy. It was ok but probably won't ho back. Trouble with some young teens drinking causing a nuisance. Average.

Review of Preston Grasshoppers Annual Fireworks Display, Bonfire & Funfair
After coming to Grasshoppers display for several years we were left disappointed this year, the display wasn't a patch on previous years & the sound system seemed to fail & could be hardly heard.

Review of Preston Grasshoppers Annual Fireworks Display, Bonfire & Funfair
I have been every year now for at least 8 years, most likely longer.
Some times the fireworks were fantastic and other times not so good, never have I been there where the ending was so lack lustre. People didn't know it had ended, there was no big kaboom, nothing , it just stopped. Even the music didn't come back on immediately, neither did the lights. I had to ask a guy in green if there was anymore fireworks thinking they might have had a glitch or something. People literally stood around for a while waiting for it to start again.
Very disappointing display, considering the sheer volume of people and stalls there.
Will still go back next year with my daughter, however if that is equally disappointing i will seek alternative events.

Review of Preston Grasshoppers Annual Fireworks Display, Bonfire & Funfair
Absolute waste of time and money. I have been for the Last time three years and was very disappointed. Most of the bigger fireworks were in the middle and the end was a flop. Everyone was stood around after they had finished unsure of if it was over as there was no grand finale. I have been to free firework displays in the past that were much bigger and much better. I think I'll be going somewhere else with my family next year.

The music wasn't in time with the fireworks at all and the fireworks only went on for 10 mins. For £5.50 this is now a very disappointing display compared to previous years.
