Join us at Samlesbury Hall this Easter for our very own 'Alice in Wonderland' inspired Mad Hatters tea party!&#160;
Sunday 20th April 2025&#160;
Sittings at 12pm and 1:30pm&#160;
Come along for a magical tea party accompanied by the Mad Hatter and March Hare themselves!&#160;
Adults and Children's options available! Children's includes a selection of sandwiches, crisps, a cupcakes, sweeties and pop! Adults including a selection of sandwiches, quiche, crisps, fruit scone and a cup of tea or coffee! Please be aware we can cater for allergens if known in advance, please email events@samlesburyhall.co.uk with any allergen upon booking!

The whole experience was poor as was the food.

Review of The Mad Hatters Tea Party

firstly it wasn't well decorated you could obviously tell it was a billiard room with ordinary tables and hardly any decoration I think there was a paper streamer on the roof but nothing else. the staff were nice adjusting to my special needs but apparently since I didn't want tea or coffee i didnt get a nice cup I got a paper bunny cup which no thought went into because when you try to drink the bunny ears poke your eyes. Then the staff came round every table having a chat and my daughter was finally excited but for some reason they passed over our table. My daughter is very sensitive having both my autism and her dads adhd and started crying saying she wanted to go and I know better than to force her to stay where she feels uncomfortable so we explained the situation to the staff they said the characters could come back it felt almost out of pity at that point she did not want to stay and was getting very upset so we left she enjoyed the park area much more than this event. With it being a kids afternoon tea I assumed it would be everyone around a big table with the two layered afternoon tea sets for everyone not tables dotted around with paper plates and paper cups never again
