TOUCH the PEARLFormed in 1988, Touch the Pearl is a long-established 9-piece Blackpool-based British covers band, popular for its unique arrangements & mash-ups of dance-floor fillers from across the decades & genres ... 60’s Soul, 70’s Funk, 80’s Disco, 90’s House … to the best dance tunes of the 21st century.
Paying tribute to the most inspiring artists of the last 50 years … Gladys, Otis, Chic, Bowie, Prince, Jacko, Amy, Prince, Chaka … the list just goes on ... from the Northern Soul stompers of Wigan Casino to the iconic clubbing tunes of the Haçienda & Pacha .. with everything in between & beyond.
The band has shared stages & been the backing group for countless legends, including ELO, Edwin Starr, Jocelyn Brown, Kenny Thomas, Marc Almond, The Real Thing, Scouting for Girls and many more … and has performed to tens of thousands of revellers at a range of venues and events across the UK & beyond.
The band, all from the north-west of England, comprises a gang of talented session musicians & solo career singers who, when they team up, create a magic that has kept this band going for 35 years!
Doors open at 9pm for this fantastic event! Runs ‘til 1am.
