Review of Music in the Park
Loved the whole thing, but Pat Sharp was the stand out act. An hour of top tunes had everyone on their feet. Food, overpriced and average as usual. But the beer, selling multipack cans, priced at £4.79 for 4, at £4.50 a can, really took the p**s

Fantastic day. Only down side was the cost of drinks £4 a can which I wouldn't have minded paying but given a pack of four with the rrp label still on as £5.49 and they charging £16 other than the the music was great as was the atmosphere.

Fantastic day, just disappointed with security, I had 1 packet of crisps confiscated, as I had been working all morning and had no lunch just thought I would grab a quick snack to have before I bought some lunch in the park, the lady was quite rude and would take no explanation!!!!

Overall the event was brilliant and outstanding for the town and whoever thought about this needs a medal brilliant idea..
A couple of corrections for next time , the beer selection was terrible and they ran out of wine really early, not enough Bars onsite, and queues were large. Too many Rules, it was like being at school..

I think the quality of the sound system was poor given the number of people and the area it was covering for an outside venue
The artist line up was great as was the stage and lighting
The biggest no no for ourselves was it should have been a picnic in the park and be able to take our own food and drink. The choice of food and beverages was extremely poor more suited a roadside lay-by
Given the majority age group for an 80’s concert something more upmarket than a cheeseburger or chips would have been more appropriate
Personally I would have preferred a higher entrance cost or a corkage charge to enable ourselves to have our own food and wine.
I also would like to have explained why a no re-entry policy was in force when as a local resident could not attend as a family for the entire day as we could not leave our dog unattended for the entire duration so we’re forced to leave entry until last admission to minimise the time our dog was left

Brilliant music and atmosphere. My only problem was that I bought VIP tickets but when we got there everybody was lumped together in one area. Surely VIP means you get upgraded to a better area with superior bars etc not a prefabricated wooden one which incidentally I got a splinter off. I realise it's the first event and lessons can be learnt lets hope the next one is superior
