An evening of Parisienne Classical Music performed by THE STEINBERG DUO, the youthful and exuberant Louisa Stonehill on Violin and Nicholas Burns on Piano. The repertoire chosen for the event will follow a Parisienne theme with Mozart Sonata for Piano & Violin in D, K.306, followed by Kreisler Praeludium & Allegro and Franck Sonata for Violin & Piano in A. The Duo enjoys a fine reputation both nationally and internationally for their classical renditions and particularly because of Nick's passionate presentation of background stories associated with their music. As well as the Steinberg Duo Performance, six local Young Musicians will have the opportunity to show their talents by playing different solo instruments including a solo vocalist. 100% of proceeds from this event will be paid to support local Basingstoke Charities including Basingstoke Mencap and Riding for the Disabled.
