Review of Chargecandy at Reading
It was very handy having the daily swap in. And saved me buying an extra battery pack that I was unlikely to use again.
Main negative was the fact that it was not made clear that Three UK were providing the chargecandy service for the weekend. As no email or any form of contact was made to notify of that. Leaving me very confused on the first day for a little while until I made my way to the info tents and they were thankfully able to steer me in the right direction.

Chargers were fine, don’t feel like they lasted as long as they have done in previous years. Not advertising that it was THREE and charge candy working together very well means I missed out on the 50% discount as I have been with three for the last 6 years.

Review of Chargecandy at Reading
I found Charge Candy to be an excellent way to keep my phone charged which enabled me to contact my friends if I got lost at Reading festival, and record my favourite acts. The only downside was that due to the size of the Reading festival venue, I had to walk quite far to the Charge Candy stands.

Chargers are awful you don’t even get a full charge out of them. You get 80% if you’re lucky. Then when you go back and tell the staff they ask to look at your battery usage in settings and they’re like “well you went on your phone twice while it was charging so thats why it didn’t work well”. To be fair to them when it was a particularly awful charge they do give you a new one but overall not worth it because if you don’t have a spare backup charger your phone will be dead for most of the festival.

Review of Chargecandy at Reading
i watched a staff member be incredibly rude to a girl who just needed to borrow a pen, pulling faces and snapping back that she ‘needed her pen’ completely disregarding these girls, i thought it was unprofessional and put me off the whole experience. the two queue system was also incredibly disorganised as it wasn’t specified which one was for collection deposit, so being sent to the back of one queue after being in another for 20 minutes with no one telling me the correct option was disgraceful
