Reading International Solidarity Centre

A Development Education Centre close to the heart of Reading's town centre, incorporating the Global Cafe, a fully licensed venue providing daytime and evening drinks to Reading using fairly traded and local products where possible. Live music and events often take place in the cafe. The cafe is also home to Tutu's Ethiopian Table who provides food in the cafe from lunchtime through to the evening. We work with schools and community groups to raise the profile of global issues and promote action for sustainable development, human rights and social justice.
