SUB89 is Reading’s best underground club and live music venue. Opening in October 2009 with a live show from Chase and Status, the venue has gone from strength to strength covering all aspects of live music, comedy and clubnights. Some of the acts to grace the SUB89 stage are Gary Numan, 2manydj’s, Babyshambles, Bad Manners, Napalm Death, Subfocus, DJ Fresh, Buzzcocks, New Model Army, Nero, Adam Ant, The Beat, Ed Sheeran, Skindred and many more. The venue is able to accommodate a wide range of international touring acts as well as striving to support the fantastic local music scene that Reading has to offer.
