Alastair Duncan: Interactive Tapestry Exhibition | The Base
Looking for a unique experience this summer? Step into Alastair Duncan's extraordinary soundscapes at The Base Greenham.
Duncan's exhibition will bring craft and technology together through a series of inspiring interactive tapestries.
Through themes that include landscape, architecture, conflict, communication and interconnection, Duncan has created tapestries that have interactive audio woven into them. Activated physically through touch or proximity, these works will trigger sensors to play soundscapes, some of which evoke the Welsh countryside, while others play manipulated dialogue that acts as ghost-like traces of interactions.
