Review of OUR FATE / Reawaken / Call of Sirens
A great way to start my year of gigs with it being the first one of 2024.
As always it was easy to get my ticket online. I'm always made to feel welcome at the venue, Facebar and the people on the door checking tickets where really friendly. It was a great evening of live music, saw all three bands and good to meet some of the band members. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Review of Reading Rising 2023
Great new bands, local bands and, increasingly, bigger acts joining this fantastic alternative one-dayer. You won't find anything else that matches the current up-and-coming trends in alt-rock like it!

Review of InAir, All Ears Avow, Bitter Kisses @ The Facebar, Reading
Great venue, not too busy, not too quiet though the sound system could do with some adjusting (ear-breaking near the front). Good crowd and great lighting effects, just a good mid-gig venue!

Review of InAir, All Ears Avow, Bitter Kisses @ The Facebar, Reading
First time at Facebar and its a great venue! I will keep an on their listings and definitely go again. Friendly staff, good prices, easy to park near and decent sound, not too loud and quite clear, well done the sound person. Also has an area at the rear of the room for bands to sell merch to get in those much needed funds. Its a well thought out band and punter layout with a good atmosphere.
Purple Grace started slow but grew through their set and were catchy and heartfelt. I will follow them with interest.
Bitter Kisses were a visual and musical delight with great songs and great energy, I expect bigger and better thing s for them as they write more songs and develop.
All Ears Avow write and deliver great songs which translate well live, will be seeing them again.
InAir not my cup of Vanilla Earl Grey but went at it with gusto and had a good die hard following.
All in all a great night out at reasonable prices for ticket, parking and drinks. This is what grass roots music should be.
