Quite expensive for entry.
Unable to refund any unused drinks tokens & not allowed to take any purchased drinks out if the venue.
Some of the bands were good - Arctic Monkeys and especially Kasabian, who stole show. The rest were bang average. At the other end of the scale, we couldn't hear the vocals from The Killers (overpowered by the backing music), and as for the so-called 'Queen tribute' - absolutely dreadful! Without a doubt the worst Queen tribute act we've ever heard! Just awful.
Probably wouldn't go again or recommend it.

We found the music very samey. More or less all indie music. Not particularly our taste.
Also, the sound was not very good, if you were sat on the on the opposite side. If kept dropping. A well organised festival but could have done with a better mix of music.

Bought VIP tickets at £44 each. I treated my 5 pals. Expensive bar with token system, often long queues. Toilets not being managed so quickly ran out of paper and dirty. Outdoor seating minimal for numbers. Great music though.

Review of Milnrow Cricket Club festival
We weren't feeling our best before we went and nearly cancelled, but because we were in a group and couldn't print out the tickets, along with the ticket app being on my phone we went along anyway. Have been here to events in the past and they've always been good but this was perhaps our worst experience.
Firstly had to have the app to get the tickets as the pdf version wouldn't work. I don't do apps on phones that I don't want or need.
Secondly no refunds on unused drinks tokens, we had to find people in the crowd with cash to sell them on.
Thirdly we had vip tickets and the pa in this area was horrendous, all we could hear was the drum and bass. Although the sound was well balanced and good if you were directly in front of the stage.
We left early and enjoyed a better balanced sound on our walk home.
