Review of Essex Pop Fest 2024
We had a great night and especially loved the silent disco. It was much, much better than last year, especially the music that was being played by the DJ as it was more 90s/00s, so there was a better range.
What would have made it even better is if the stage music was a bit louder (it was quite quiet) and if there were some more 90s/00s pop classics in the silent disco (like S Club, Busted, Avril Lavigne etc.) as there was a lot of club music. Also if the Pop Fest could be on the Saturday next year so that we can arrive earlier and enjoy it for longer!
It was a great event though.

Review of Essex Pop Fest 2024
The event was good. However I disappointed with the security. I was in VIP and as I was dancing, there was a woman in a reclined wheelchair who was behind the gates and clearly unable to see the stage with everyone standing in front. I spoke to the security and they told me to tell them to come out of the crowd and through the gates to the VIP section so they could see better. Her carers left the crowd, and bought her round, and when they got there, they refused to let them through. The radioed to the supposed event manager, who refused to allow them in. Considering this is a charitable event, the lack of compassion for such individuals was shocking and disappointing. Apart from that, it was a great day.
