Given that my children were in their words 'bored' speaks for itself, the Taylor tribute was good except the db music levels were questionable and clearly unsafe as everyone in our party had problems with hearing following this event. I will not be attending any events run by el kiddo at Hooton lodge again as we were overall left disappointed given the price paid for this event.

£3.50 per person per ride, £4 for hook a duck. Food and drink was overpriced., £18 for 2 cuppas and 2 hotdogs. The overall event was good. The main act was only on for 45 minutes and not until the end of the 4 hour whole event. My daughter loved it.

On top of tick*t prices, the individual prices for rides, food and drink, face painting etc did not make it budget friendly.

Amazing fun apart from the food - I asked in advance for gluten free food options for my 8 year old who has coeliac disease. Very disappointed that we were told there would be options and there wasn't anything. Also a clearer time itinerary would have been helpful as we wanted to go on hook a duck at the end but it was closed after Taylor swift. Taylor was lovely and the atmosphere was great

Terrible waste of money, half fair ground rides had packed up by last day but still charged full. Food stalls out of most ingredients, basically cost a fortune for 2 rides and some crap food that that all cost extra

Expensive for entry to a field with a tent. £4 for hook a duck with a 50p toy prize. Complete rip off event.

Food was a little expensive but drinks prices were reasonable.
Great atmosphere. Plenty of fun things for the kids. We had a great time

Extremely overpriced. Not as advertised. Really disappointed. Will not to attending another El Kiddo event and will not to recommending to others! If I could give it 0 stars I would!!! Total rip off and waste of money!

I have never been to such a rubbish event ever as this one. There was hardly anything there. There was definitely no CIRCUS false advertising and god knows what the tick*t included as we had to pay for everything once we were in the grounds. I think the kids would have had more fun watching paint dry !!!!

Been to Hooton Roberts farm venue a few times for much less expensive events. This was advertised as a Halloween Circus with lots of activities but the only thing that was like a circus was 2 people walking around outside on stilts for a little while changing outfits occasionally, and a corner of the marquee with a few little activities consisting of sticks and ribbons. There were a few charcters walking about in costumes but everything else you had to pay for on top of almost 15 quid each for a tick*t - even the face painting was £5 and you had to pay for glow sticks. This could have been included in the price. There was kids' entertainment on for about 45 minutes which was good, however no better than on previous visits which have been run by other party organisers where we only paid less than a fiver and adults were free. The 90s music was great for the adults but very loud and heavy for the kids. After we purchased the tick*ts, they announced a Taylor Swift tribute would be performing as a surprise. Unfortunately, none of the children we went with are fans so that made very little difference to us. For some kids, I imagine they loved it but for us a very expensive day out. Not worth what we paid.

Really poorly staffed. Rides were extortionate to say we had already paid 2 get in and there was only 2 of them. Waited all day 2 see a 45 minute act which was not of the highest standard. I wouldn't return

Absolutely diabolical. Paid a lot for nothing really. Still had to pay for additional things once in. My child was bored within minutes. The staff on the rides were uninterested and a few times there were health and safety issues which they were not bothered about

Too loud ... not enough to do outside of the disco part

Not clear on what is included in the price of the tickets.
Also the entertainment, juggler and face painting were there about 30 min it seems so we had no chance of getting to them. No timings were given as to when they’d be there so could be easily missed if you didn’t sit around in the tent.
We arrived at 12:30, did a couple of rides and went to check the tent but there was nothing in there other than some music so the kids were obviously not wanting to stay in.
We headed back to rides and inflatables (all extra ££) before getting a few (very greasy) chips and heading back in the tent. The juggler was in a small corner opposite the stage and by the time the kids finished their chips (10-15 min) the juggler was packing up. The face painting was still there but was of no interest as the kids were already in costumes and had makeup on but I saw a few kids that had been and the makeup was good.
Glow sticks and other merch were all extra as well.
We only managed to catch the last few minutes of the entertainment with the balloon drop so other than that, I can’t comment on it.
Tribute act was late but the best tribute around is an overstatement (TS songs were in the background, not just the music) with that said, the kids enjoyed it nonetheless. I’d say the best bit was the confetti being shot in the air which was lovely.
Kids had a good time but it’s cost me a small fortune.

It was very expensive for such a poor program. We were suppose to pay extra and much for every activity, so I am wondering for what exactly we pait so much (no entrance with at least 1 adult and 1 child was less than 30 pounds!) , Music was very load, so my 6 years old didnt like to stay inside, not that he missed much interesting program or show anyway... And Calling it circu was very misleading too. We came all the way from Sheffield and were very disappointed
