Previous Knightcons had been busy but very enjoyable. This one was overcrowded and awful. The venue was badly set out, with a large main hall, but it took 30mins to get into and out of it due to queuing down narrow corridors.
Then the hall was too crowded, just too many people allowed in. We could see stalls 2m away and not get to them because of the crowds.
Won't be going back if they hold it at this venue again.

The show was good lots of displays things to look at and a good mix of stalls but the venue was two full didn't get to see stage show and my wife found it hard moving around as she has MS. I feel the car parking situation was also inadequate.

Exciting event, really good displays, friendly guests/cosplayers who would happily pose for photos with the public, a Stormtrooper made my little boy's day by fist bumping him, he was still talking about it days later.
The venue however was so claustrophobic it was almost unbearable to be in there with 4000 other people. Parking was difficult, too, as they expected 4000 people and have 500 car spaces there.
Happy to pay extra for autographs, professional pics etc of course... but I thought that having to pay an extra £5 PER PERSON to get near the Transformers cars was a little cheeky, as they were advertised as a main attraction for the con, you should be able to do this as part of the ticket (family of 4).

We absolutely loved the event, it was our 2nd year of attending and were not disappointed. We went last yr, loved it, told family and friends about it and they booked tickets and came with us this year. We will most definitely be attending again next yr and will probably dress up in costume this time too, fantastic work, think my kids actually enjoyed it as much as I did haha :)

fantastic event with lots of things going on all day, excellent costumes especially the skyrimers, all the vehicles are brought into reality. superb. only downfall was the food or lack of it.

Me and my two kiddies had a fantastic time !!! met some amazingly dressed people and we will definitely be attending the next event ... we we're also starting to make some friends here would love to get chatting in a group if there is one ?? ...... invite please ...... lol .... thank you all for such a memorable day we won't forget it :-):-):-) ... I'm only marking the venue down a bit but only cuz more room is need to fit all !!!...... in to this amazingly popular event !!!! ;-)

There was a good range of characters and vehicles etc.

Our children all managed to purchase something from the merchandise area.

Unfortunately I do not think the event was particularly well managed. There was insufficient car parking at the venue. The event date coincided with a cycle race at the venue meaning that the volume of people meant it was quite dangerous. Traffic leaving the venue was at a stand still for an hour and a half and it made it impossible for an ambulance leaving the premises to exit at one point. There did not appear to be adequate management of the situation from a health and safety perspective. It took an hour for staff to open up another exit before traffic was able to disperse.

The amount of people at the event also made it difficult to see the stage so we missed both shows.

Overall quite disappointing!
