On Friday 14th October, the UK’s leading technology and electrical retailer opens its newest store, bringing all three brands – Currys, PC World and Carphone Warehouse – under one roof.
The store will open its doors on Friday 14th October with refreshments being served by Dolce Gusto on Friday, Starbucks on Saturday and Nespresso on Sunday. There will be a brilliant silent auction on a HP laptop package and printer, in addition to amazing raffle prizes up for grabs, including a TV, camera, Nespresso package, and Google Chromecasts, with all proceeds going to a local charity The Stars Appeal.
Steve Claridge will cut the ribbon at 9am to open the new store. Steve is an English football pundit, coach and former player. He was a pundit for BBC Sport football shows including football focus and The Football League show. Steve is now both Manager and Director at newly formed Salisbury FC who achieved promotion in their first year under his tenure. Steve also runs the Steve Claridge Foundation which offers youngsters the experience of gaining either a BTEC/Apprenticeships through a specific sports programme.
The 13,875 sq ft store which will almost double in size will include bespoke areas for brands including Dyson, Apple, LG as well as interactive displays for the latest in cameras, home audio systems and a new Carphone Warehouse. 15 brand new jobs will be created in the new store and the store team are supporting local charity, The Stars Appeal www.starsappeal.org, who we will be fundraising over the opening weekend, including a sponsored skydive.
Store opening hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 8pm, Saturdays 9am – 7pm and Sundays 10.00am – 4.00pm.
