Salisbury Playhouse is one of Britain's leading building-based theatres with an enviable reputation for producing work of the highest quality. Our creativity in engaging with local communities is recognised throughout the country. We have pioneered projects that take theatre into schools, homes and communities to touch people who would never otherwise have experienced it. We believe strongly in using the power of theatre to help transform communities. Under Artistic Director Philip Wilson, the Playhouse continues to go from strength to strength, receiving regular critical and audience acclaim for its choice of shows and the quality of the work it produces.
