An Afternoon with Ross McCormack

About

The Scarborough Whites invites you to our end of season get together.

After the success of previous years' events with Ian Harte & Brian Deane we are delighted to announce that this year's guest speaker is Ross McCormack.

Starting his career at Glasgow Rangers, McCormack signed for Leeds from Cardiff City and was the club’s top goalscorer in two of his four seasons at Elland Road.

He would go onto make over 150 appearances during some very turbulent times at the club under numerous managers including Simon Grayson, Brian McDemott and Neil Warnockscoring 58 goals in the process and eventually becoming club captain.

After finishing the 2013/14 season as the league's top goalscorer, McCormack was sold to league rivals Fulham by controversial chairman Massimo Cellino.

He later went onto play for the likes of Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest before a short spell in Australia where he played alongside the Olympic sprinting champion Usain Bolt for Central Coast Mariners.

The event is being hosted by local Leeds United Supporters group the Scarborough Whites and will be hosted by compere and comedian Pete Emmett.
