Firm or a first event it was good , signage outside the tram station would have been helpful, I went totally the wrong way and ended up having to walk all the way back , I was driving and there was no free drinking water or a stall selling hot drinks, but all small niggles in the grand scheme of things . Would go again.

Top venue, fantastic band's, continuous live music with bands playing either the main stage or music tent, great atmosphere for a first time festival at the Don Valley bowl, couldn't fault it but it can only get better

Had really good time at rockin the bowl. Got to see a few bands I'd not heard of that turned out to be very good, well worth a listen. For £20 you really can't go wrong, considering I've paid the same just to see the Wildhearts on their own, who by the way were awesome as ever! Going forward I really hope Rockin the bowl continues and grows, we need something like this in Sheffield.

no lights in toilets after dark; very interesting
veggie options limited/ went fast
no newcastle brown ale
staff really helpful and genuinely happy to be part of this event
ticket price brilliant value
variety of music styles good
got so lucky with the weather; not sure what the backup plan would have been
kids seemed to be coping well/ lots of wheelchair users too- good to see

Excellent first time Festival, and would definitely go again.
Great atmosphere and the weather was unbelievable, didn’t think I’d come back from Sheffield in September Sun Burnt!!

Review of Rockin the Bowl - Forged in Hell 2019
It was a friendly festival with one of my favourite bands as headliner. I was expecting a bigger crowd and based on the low demand for food stalls and bar trade I think the vendors were as well. Ticket price was great. Bar over-priced with weird token system like a fair ground. Toilets suffered once it got dark! Good place for my son to see his favourite type of music with zero aggression or bad vibes.
