Another Life are pleased to welcome another quality DJ to this incredible, intimate venue in our home city of Sheffield. With a total capacity of 120, amazing sound system and a DJ booth set right in the heart of the room, the atmosphere at these events really is something special. 

Born in the UK, James Harcourt's music has graced the DJ sets of Tale Of Us,  Sasha, Adriatique, Marino Canal, John Digweed, Hernán Cattáneo and many more. In 2024 he released EPs and singles with Global Underground, Siamese and Renaissance as well as remixing for the lies of Miss Monique, Elif, Mira and Dave Seaman.

Drawing on influences dating back to the late 90s club hedonism of London but also
from forward-thinking sound design, his unique sound is a fusion of artistic intricacy
and indulgent hedonism. A string of heavily supported releases since 2021, along with mainstage appearances at the avantgarde Hypercube project in Mexico, UK's Noisily Festival, Rainbow Serpent Festival and club circuit appearances all over the world have cemented his place as an in demand artist. 

He's been summarised by Berlin producer Jepe as "delivering a constant flow of great tracks ... beautiful compositions and imaginary voyages". Inspired by a love of characterful, classic synthesizers and the fusion of these machines with the seemingly limitless possibilities of modern production software, he produced a string of heavily supported releases ensuring a steady, constant growth backed by a consistent work ethic and the purest form of love and connection to music and life itself.

Most notably his track "Beholden" from 2021 has reached quarter-of-a-million Spotify streams and featured in the Tale Of Us / Afterlife sets for many months. His Renaissance track "Refraction" spent nearly two months in the Beatport Electronica top 10 and his debut release on Adriatique's excellent Siamese label - "Bloom" - has been featured in the much coveted Spotify Editorial playlist curated by Tale Of Us.
