Reviews of GREENWICH And LEWISHAM YOUNG PEOPLE'S THEATRE in London
GREENWICH And LEWISHAM YOUNG PEOPLE'S THEATRE venue information
Having attended all the workshops, a local amateur photographer, Goretti Pereira, stated: "through these classes I started critically analysing films which I watch. I cannot just enjoy films anymore, I have to analyse them, and it feels great! It helped me understand the whole complexity of film practice, and how emotion and perception play a major role in film production. We have received a free film course from Matthew Hawkins, a higher education lecturer in film, on our doorstep in Plumstead. We should have more of this in the future!"
The future is coming on 28th April in Tramshed at midday under the name of The Big Gala: the Programme will open with introductions from the organisers, and the first shortlisted film will kick off at 1.15pm! The day will be full of creative attraction, such as, photographic exhibition by Goretti Pereira and Sandra Marilia, a comedy act written for the Festival by Ray Buddy Hell, a jazz act by Maciek Hrybowicz and Friends, a fashion show by Asake Oge, an all day live edit installation by Matthew Hawkins, and many great films screened till 10pm!
The full Programme is available on the website: www.edgeofthecityfilmfestial.org.uk through which tickets to this event are also sold.
The event is family oriented and everyone is welcome, the bar will be open till late.
