Attikk Sessions presents - Mayshe-Mayshe plus support

Mayshe-Mayshe is the solo project of Yorkshire artist, performer and producer Alice Rowan. Her music blends dreamy art-pop and electronica with rich storytelling, skittering percussion and infectious melodies. Her deceptively simple songwriting - at once universal and deeply personal - incorporates choral vocals, vintage synths and the occasional hairdryer.

The project was born from Mayshe’s love for pop and electronica and her lofi approach to making music, resulting in her unique brand of experimental electropop. Her songs explore themes of mental health, nature and imaginary worlds, with organic elements woven into all aspects of her music. 

Mayshe-Mayshe’s live performance is a spellbinding experience: a dynamic live-looped performance of soft, spare rhythms and intimate vocal harmonies that build into deep oceans of sound.

Mayshe-Mayshe released her debut album Cocoa Smoke in 2018, followed by her second studio album Indigo in November 2022, with new music scheduled for release in 2025.
