Review of SUITED & BOOTED : Ska & Mod Festival ALL-DAYER Sheffield
Was a good event. Music good. Venue could have been better. Bit tired and in need of tlc. Music distorted in some areas. Street food advertised but there was no food.

Review of Network Sheffield
Paid 17.50 so good value for an all day event. The 3rd stage wasnt signposted well so I didnt get there. The acts on the main stage were awesome! Yes technical difficulties but the acts kept it going. The outside DJs were brilliant! Agree it felt safe as security about inside and out but not instrusive. I went with my son and his friend but felt safe for them to leave me. Everyone was friendly, staff friendly. Agree the toilets werent the best but better than portaloos and there were always clean and replenished with toilet roll! The food was excellent value and delicious 10 pounds for jerk chicken rice and peas coleslaw and a couple of small dumplings. Drinks were brilliant value a round of 3 rum and c**es for 15 pounds. I would definitely come again and for women thinking should I come alone go for it!

Review of Sheffield reggae all dayer 19th august 2023
Great music but the live acts in the main hall were let down by 'technical issues' that were related to poor sound engineering. The vocal mixing was 'toppy' and dry.
The acts were great otherwise!
The courtyard DJ's and acts caught our attention for most of the time.
The smaller hall had a different 'old school' vibe featuring a wider mix of music and a good atmosphere in there.
The venue itself was OK but the location is really poor if arriving by car, parking is not the best.
The courtyard streetfood smelled sensational and gave a sense of traditional caribbean homecooked grub.
Other vendors sold cultural emblazoned items such as t- shirts and hats etc.
The music out there, when combined with the drinks, food and occasional sunshine and heat of the day helped to create a very chilled environment that felt safe and relaxed.
The mix of cultures and styles was a pleasure to be part of.
The toilets were badly neglected.
There was security in place which added to the pleasant atmosphere.
Prices: we'd already eaten, we didn't buy food, so can't comment on the prices.
We bought drinks that were frankly, way too expensive and that's a spoiler.
We bought V.I.P tickets that had no relevance, other than they could get you served a little quicker. But who's going to jump the line and cause a nuisance, and spoil my own someone else's day? Not me!
TIP: avoid the VIP tickets, waste of money!
Again, the atmosphere was great, no unpleasantness. Staff and security were respectful and friendly.
I would go again but on early bird or standard tickets.
Go make up your own mind though!
