Salem UK / Syncolima / Ace Of Kings

Salem UK:

Salem UK (formally known as Salem) are a Hard RockNWOBM band from Hull, England. They originally formed following the split of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal band, Ethel the Frog. Salem recorded three demos and a single in the early 1980s; a compilation album of these recordings was released in 2010.

They've been gigging and recording since 1979 (with a slight pause in between 1983 and 2009! The band re-formed as Salem UK in 2009 and have since released two EPs, 'New Tricks' and 'X Rated' plus the albums, 'Forgotten Dreams' (2013), 'Dark Days' (2016) and 'Attrition' (2018).

Salem have also filmed two videos and has played numerous festivals and gigs in the UK, across Europe and beyond.

A re-mastered and rearranged edition of the 2010 'In the Beginning...' album was released in July 2015. Dark Days was met with rave reviews and considered one of the top albums of 2016.

With founder member and Bassist, Adrian Jenkinson still on the roster, along with Lead Vocalist, Si Saxby, who joined in 1980, Salem UK is a genuine NWOBHM band.

Outside of Salem, Si has done work with members of ELO and some other big acts the list is on his Reverbnation page on some of his solo songs which you can see. 

Bassist, Adrian was on tour in Germany with a band called The Crack which are quite popular over there during our time off a few months ago.

Axeman, Jonny Hirons has been a member of Guthrum which featured Mark Wood, former Winterfellyth Guitarist & Elliot Vernon of Alestorm on vocals.

Jonny also was on guitar duties in DIEZEKTOR which featured Dan Mullins of My Dying Bride, Clown Corpse & Planet Ten which were regular touring bands for many years. He is presently known from being a regular feature on the Sunday with Ola show & livestream with Ola Englund of the Swedish Thrash band The Haunted.

Drummer, Daniel Ellis completes the line-up.

Salem UK is currently gigging across Europe, and due to the prolific songwriting and recording talent within the band, they are almost always in the middle of recording a new album!

Ace Of Kings:

Ace of Kings' are a 5 piece hard rock band hailing from Scunthorpe, formed in 2022. Comprising of Jonny Bilton on vocals, Oliver James and Josh Grinell on guitar, Ben Hughes on bass and Adam Lazenby on the drums the quintet draw their inspirations from rock bands throughout history, from the likes of Metallica to Alice In Chains and Black Stone Cherry.

With high energy live performances and a powerful sound they aim to combine local working class grit with universal rock appeal.
