Review of Neon Waltz
Neon Waltz are one of my absolute favourite bands. This show was my 17th time watching them live and the second on their current tour. Glorious headline set as always - excellent support from Sweetness too!

Review of Poly Math + Body Hound
This is the level of musicianship, creativity and intensity that you rarely see from mainstream artists in mainstream venues. The headliners gave everything they've got but still managed to be tasteful in their approach to highly complex music. The support acts were also a great warm up, so great that they could have been the headliners for all I care.
Check them all out of you can!

Review of LIO live at Record Junkee
Lio is one of the most exciting talents to emerge from the Sheffield music scene in the last decade. The key is her extra-ordinary voice. However, she combines this with intelligent lyrics, and well crafted song-writing. The addition of a backing band has allowed Lio to step away from the guitar and show-case her performance skills. Equally adept at ballads and more up-tempo numbers, she has the vocal ability to excel at any musical genre. If there is any justice in the world, Lio will be a national break-out star in 2020.

Review of LIO live at Record Junkee
This is the second time we've seen bands here and both times the sound quality is really good - which is the main thing after all. We like the venue, my only slight criticism is the choice at the bar and not keen on paying draft prices for cans.
