Review of Handel’s Messiah (Highlights) at Christmas by Candlelight
The first half was disappointing given the lead title of the event because lhe selection of violin music was not varied enough . The second half which were pieces from The Messiah was excellent as it featured four wonderful soloists which lifted the programme to an excellent level . The staging needs to be higher for the audience to see the performers .The venue was rather draughty where we were sitting. (at front) The benches always hard but cushion usually available .Good that drinks were available .

Review of Vivaldi\'s Four Seasons by Candlelight
I am not someone who goes regularly to concerts in fact I do not appreciate music classical or modern pop I was put off it in the infant school by being put in the grunters choir but last Friday's performance was super. it had short pieces which the musicians obviously enjoyed playing and that resulted in my enjoyment of the whole evening and I would come again. Thanks for a wonderful evening
