About

Loic J Tuckey Band

Experience the electrifying sound of Loic J Tuckey and his band, delivering their signature blend of psychedelic Americana. August 9th sees Loic perform his long-awaited new album Beyond The Sun Road: an epic ode to the westward highway routes of America.

With roots in mid-20th century rock and R&B, infused with surf, swampy blues and psychedelia, Beyond The Sun Road includes 12 tracks that transport you to the golden era of American road trips. Featuring a twangy guitar reminiscent of spaghetti western soundtracks at a voice that bellows through the valley, you'll feel the essence of the old west flow.

Beyond The Sun Road is available on all digital streaming platforms and downloadable on Bandcamp from August 2.

"Turn the volume up to the max, imagine the soft breeze on the face and the noise of the tyres rolling at cruising speed." Zone Nights

The date also coincides with the launch of Loic's debut novella Cowboy Butchers:

"Cheyenne Bodie Peters is a butcher in a small town in the north of England with a love for Italian westerns and an over-cooked imagination. He believes it is his duty as a progressive butcher to oversee the status and safety of the community, going to great lengths to maintain law and order.

But when he announces a change in the regular sausage recipe, all hell breaks loose in his shop and a feud with the Bowen family starts.

It's a rivalry that follows Cheyenne all the way to Almeria in the south of Spain. When he enters a novelty rodeo contest in the Last Chance Saloon, his old enemies appear once again. But this time, it'll take a fight to the death to end the feud once and for all."

Buzz Lightyear

Ditch the nostalgia, Sheffield's Buzz Lightyear are here to warp your mind with face-melting riffs and smoke-filled jams. Forget lasers, these guys are powered by potent weed and pure sonic fury. Prepare for a heavy trip that's more "dark side of the moon" than plastic space ranger.
