Review of Dr John Cooper Clarke - The I Wanna Be Yours Tour
Firstly, your site provided the correct-ish starting time. Our friend, using a different site were originally informed that the doors were 'open' at 8. Unfortunately 'the doors close at 8pm' was ignored.
I know it was a student venue (should that matter?) but it seems people don't know how to behave at a concert/theatre. IF YOU MUST go to the loo, wait at least to the end of one item. DON'T walk across the front of the stage while the artist is in full flow. Similarly, if you're seated on banked seating with 'loud steps' DON'T clomp down them at inappropriate times. DON'T (unless you're expecting a text from the England rugby coach0 DON'T check your smart phone every 5 minutes... or EVER. Hence my low score for Atmosphere.
Opinions differed within our group, but my advice to the two poets on first would be to ditch JCC and go it alone. I had said, at the interval, if we go home now I've had more than my money's worth (high praise coming from a Yorkshire man). Pity I didn't act on it.
Is that enough???
Review of TTC Presents: Sub Focus (DJ), Dimension, Loadstar & More
The Octagon as a venue is an improvement on the usual foundry location for Tuesday club, definitely worth attending. Standouts of the night were Mollie Collins and Sub Focus for sure - atmosphere and music were insane during Mollie's set and Sub Focus controlled the crowd so well with banger after banger :)

Review of Hype Dance Academy Annual Show
Varied show with several dance genres represented from ballet and tap right through to street and hip-hop. Large age range of performers and differing ability levels. Interesting music choices meant there was something for everyone. Very enjoyable and the best Hype revue show yet

Review of Hype Dance Academy Annual Show
A great show, with excellent performances all round, a lot of creativity, fantastic energy! Hype Academy is an outstanding and happy dance school and it shows! The students enjoy what they are doing and perform at their best!
