Not a lot going on really!
Thankfully the great sunny weather meant that everyone was very chilled and relaxed....which was good as there was very little entertainment of any kind going on. I never saw anything at all happening in the cabaret tent and there were no blackboards visible anywhere or programmes telling you what was on. Some second rate live bands on a small stage, and outdoor dance area with some good funky music playing early in the evening, and reggae in the afternoon, but by 7pm it had all turned into repetitive triphop stuff. Some ok dance stuff going on inside the building in the nightime. Enjoyable parts were the interesting characters who were there....Ippy's storytelling area, Lauras face spangling stall, a nice cool paddling pool in the kids area, and a very peaceful vibe after 11pm.......not so enjoyable parts were no live entertainment of any merit,..long periods of nothing happening anywhere apart form a dj, horrendous flooding in toilets which never got fixed, limited food options which were overpriced. This festival when it was bigger 10 years ago had a lot more going on and even booked the odd band people had heard of...now it is so much smaller the budget must've drastically reduced as there was nothing whatsoever to justify the £80plus pounds I paid for me and my family to be there. Luckily I had my friends for company, and good weather, but if it had been rainy, or I hadn't known anyone I would've been very bored and disappointed. Its a lovely site, it just needs some better live music to tempt the crowds.....and nicer toilets and more food.....oh and cabaret stuff actually happening. Even some yoga or Taichi classes would've been nice....and using the outdoor pizza oven.

Review of Workhoue Project Jungle Safari New Years Eve Special
Been to the three events hosted at workhouse this year, enjoyed all of them so much and love the feeling of freedom and freshness you get at workhouse events. The music was brilliant for the most of the night and a lot of lovely people there to chat to. My few complaints were that the security were a bit too present at times, i didn't feel intimidated by them but they did create a slight hostile impression and made me and my friends a little uneasy which i thought was unnecessary as there was very little trouble, also as my group had no way back home for the night we bravely camped and were a bit mythed at getting charged a tenner per tent to camp at sub zero temperatures, had the bunkhouse been a little cheaper we would've used that instead. Apart from that i had another awesome night and im looking forward to the next one
