About

Part 1 covers the period from the 1890's to 1930's where Sticky will be showing & demonstrating some early, rare drums & drumming styles of drumming which still have relevance to today's drummers including double drumming.

With some audience participation Sticky will also demonstrate how & why the first drum kits came about. He will also show some experiments & crazy contraptions to enable the first professional drum sets to be produced.

At the end of the evening anyone may have the opportunity to try out for themselves some of these beautiful old instruments.

Part 2 will cover 1930's to 1940's

Part 3 will cover 1950's to 1960's

Part 4 will cover 1970's to 1980's
