The concert was great, but the sound system was poor

Very disappointed, as was my 11 year old daughter. It really wasn't worth the £47 per ticket. It stated on the ticket it started at 6.30 but we were stood outside in the extreme heat and the doors didn't open till 6.30. Performance started at 7.15. The singer was drowned out by the orchestra and out of key. Felt we couldn't stand to have a little dance, through fear of upsetting other people in the audience. The seating wasn't tiered, so viewing was limited, even though I bought more expensive tickets (may as well have stood at the back on cheaper tickets). When the event was advertised, it was made to appear more spectacular with lighting etc. I feel this event was dreamed up just to raise funds for the Abbey (hence the hefty ticket price) I feel I've been totally ripped off. We left at the interval as couldn't sit through another 45 mins on a numb bum (church pews aren't the most comfortable!) I wasn't expecting the Eras tour experience by any means, but for the price I paid for my daughter and me, it was in all pretty shocking!! My daughter is a proper swiftness and said straight away "mummy, it's a bit embarrassing ". I never leave reviews but this experience has left a particular bad taste in my mouth. Was worth no more than £20 per ticket!!

The venue itself was good but a combination of poor sound quality and people just talking throughout spoilt our enjoyment. The Orchestra and singers were let down by the sound system which made it difficult to hear at times.

Fun event in a great venue, the audience all had a good time! Think it was slightly misadvertised, sounded
like purely classical renditions - it was basically a tribute act with some strings thrown in. Had a great time and would have bought tickets in any case, but I think some people in the audience were surprised.

We thought that the music was okay but you could not hear any of the lyrics. The music was tinny and far too loud for this venue. If it had been outdoors, it may have been better. Not convinced though. And me Talulah thought you could improve. Thanks bye.
