Would thoroughly recommend Black Dog's Lotus Tents at Shrewsbury. The tents were well constructed, comfortable and well furnished. The mattresses were very comfortable and the staff were on hand throughout the festival. If you want to arrive and just get straight into the festival groove, treat yourself to a Lotus Tent. Hassle-free!

Excellent. Lotus tent up and ready for us when we arrived. Fantastic space in there with a small table and 2 chairs and also a mirror. Really comfortable mattress.
We will be back next year and hiring a lotus tent again.

Better head height than Bell Tent so space more usable but can’t ventilate tent without leaving door or window open, needs mesh fly screens in windows and door.

The Lotus tent was perfect for us - already up so no search for a space or fight with our tent, we were met by Francis who was friendly and helpful, and in spite of some wet weather we were warm and dry. Planning to book again for next year - thank you.

The tent was fabulous - very homey, loved the carpets, lamps etc. Would have been better if we could have parked our car near the tent, as we normally do at Shrewsbury, though they had apparently run out of parking space. The generator, right next to the tent, was noisy until the small hours - but lovely when it stopped... Altogether a great experience!

Excellent ! We loved our lotus tent. It was warm, roomy, comfortable and well sited, close to the main stage, and probably more importantly, loos, showers and standpipe. Francis, who showed us in when we arrived, was charming,helpful and available throughout the festival. When the temperature dropped one clear night, he was happy to provide blankets. We were able to park right behind the tent for an absolute minimum of effort unpacking and packing. All in all, a delightful experience.

My decision to hire a Lotus tent was a great choice, no hassle, good mattress, spacious, room to stand and a great location all made for a great festival experience. The folk festival site is very well organised, lots to do and the music was awesome. Highly recommend for all those that love great music.

Our second year with black dog tipis, a warm friendly welcome, fabulous tent in rain or sun and a comfy bed too!
