Wonderful event with absolutely lovely people working behind the bars, gates, security, first aid and best of all walking around dressed up for photo opportunities etc. The stage needs to be higher, the sound could be a tad better and definitely loader, maybe more bar staff but in truth a great event. We loved it and will be back - Thank you all.

Great weekend and great value. Walking distance to the town centre too. Apart from the sound system couldn't fault anything.

Nice site stage not high enough off the ground video screens poor in daylight sound very poor at times not the artist fault sort that out will be a great venue

Great festival at a very reasonable price. Facilities were a bit outdated and no rubbish was collected on Sunday, so there were large piles of rubbish. Bands were good, people were nice and the stalls and food trucks were very good.

campsite facilities were a bit spa**e but regularly cleaned, otherwise well organised event.

Lovely weekend spent at the Woodshrop festival. Our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Location is great, loved that you could walk easily into town. Bit short on toilet/shower facilities we noticed for those using them, although queues cleared fairly quickly. Perhaps the arrivals procedure could have been organised a little better as we were sent the wrong way to be pitched, but once pitched, all was good. Very friendly staff. Perhaps more clarity over what could be taken into the arena as several people seen with large cool boxes of booze but we were told only allowed food and water. Despite a couple of little niggles, a very pleasant event that was also great value for money. Thank you

Really good weekender - everything not to far, facilities were good. acts were great but a special mention to Elton, he was amazing. Next year, move the stage so it's going down the field instead of across thanks for a great weekend

They were having real problems with the sound checks, which meant that the bands I saw were running 1/2 hour late and only got to do half their sets. So on this occasion not worth the money.

Had so much fun. Even with a few technical issues, it didn't dampen the feel good feeling. Looking forward to next year.

Great weekend Bands were great great venue but my only down side to the festival was the outrages prices for the beer £9 for a pint of Guinness is just daylight robbery more expensive than Central London and the food prices was just as bad

Music was good, but like the rest of reviews the sound quality needs a hell of alot of improving.
Again, more toilets and showers and daily cleans.
More rubbish bins.
The stage should be higher, as sitting down you cannot see full artist or stage.
Also alot of people had brought high back chairs, you cannot see, if you stand to have a look then folk behind cannot see.
BUT.... in saying all the above, we had a fantastic weekend, no queing on arrival, pitched where we liked after being shown the field we were on.
We met other family in Morrisons car park so we could all arrive together.
We shall be back next year and cannot wait for new line up.
Thankyou for giving us a very relaxed weekend with great tribute artist.

Brilliant event! Quite small with a lovely atmosphere. Bands were all brilliant.

Review of West Mid Showground,

Great weekend but spoilt by poor sound throughout every act. There were issues with the microphones and getting the artists monitors set up. It took some artists to get through two or three songs before they sorted the issues. Once they did get it sorted, it was ok but not great.
The showground lacked enoue toilets and showers of a good standard. They did put in some good showers but not enough. The elsan waste points were blocking up on at least two of them. Also the waste skips were not emptied and were overflowing by sunday
But overall we really enjoyed the weekend and will return again as the atmosphere was great and the venue overall very good and clean

Travelled from Surrey to this excellent festival great atmosphere not too big so easy to walk around and get in and out , had some pretty decent acts , really well organised and very nice hosts and staff overall had a great weekend. Lots of room in the campsite with clean toilet and showering facilities. Well done guys .

Really nice laid back festival, great facilities and convenient for Shrewsbury Town Centre.
Some issues with the sound system but most bands battled through and gave some great performances.
