Review of Woodshrop'24 Festival

The festival was such fun with a variety of music to suit all tastes and eras. The weather was good and wet but it did not spoil the atmosphere. There were some technical issues but the artists handled them with good humour, mostly. Elton John gave a cracking performance and would have been better placed later in the schedule. The only downsides, there was not one alcohol free drink at either bar and the rubbish was not recycled so the skip bins were overflowing by the end of the weekend. Overall, a great weekend and would go again.

This is the second year of the festival (and second year of us attending). Wow, this year was much busier!! Excellent venue, and a great weekend. We camped with an electric hook up. Not many showers for all the campers, but we made do. Had friends who paid extra for glamping (and wished they hadn't - they can leave a review if they wish, but they weren't impressed!).

The sound system seemed up and down a bit, with a lot of microphone problems. The music technicians seemed to be working hard (or not, as the case may be!).

Overall - excellent value, a great venue, some great tribute bands and we met some lovely people. We're definitely going next year (but not glamping!!!!)

Just so relaxing and great atmosphere, the best we've been to this year.The only frustration was the sound guys who appear to not know what they were doing and let the acts down. Great acts again, can't wait for next year 😊😊
