Review of Woodshrop'24 Festival
Positives - Great value as first time visit on Sunday as a Day Visitor - I'll definitely return next year .
Tribute acts were brilliant with all going the extra mile despite some sound issues !
Hosting venue had ample parking and is a local Rural Charity worth supporting.
The small friendly Festival atmosphere made everyone feel welcome and safe.
Two Cover canopies were a great idea when shade was needed.
BUT Remember to bring your own seats!
Negatives -The stage layout and access needs some re thinking as it was a very difficult for ALL to
view the stage even if you arrived early . Many later arrivals just pitched (or worse stood
up mid act to take pictures !!!)not caring they were blocking those behind them ..
So come on-
It would be appreciated if we all next time could have some thought for everyone
enjoyment especially those less able or in wheelchairs so we can all have safe/
adequate access and be able to all see/hear and listen to the acts on the Stage.

A great weekend second visit. Because it was much bigger than last year I feel that a few things have slipped. There needs to be twice as many rubbish bins provided they were all full and overflowing onto the ground they didn't get emptied once over the 3 days. Last year we commented about the cleanliness of the toilets being really good but this year not as impressed. Big issue with the audio system technicians not being able to tune in to the bands requirements all weekend causing bands to cut their slot short (very disappointing) Long delays of sometimes 45 minutes between bands. Now let's Finish on a positive. It was great to see more retail stands and food stalls. Also excellent camping being allowed to pick you own location. Event staff really friendly and welcoming. Very good priced food and drink at the outlets. Very competitively priced entrance fee. Overall great weekend. Will be back next year.

Would definitely go again, the atmosphere , the other guests, andthe staff were great. Shame about the sound system which spoilt some of the artists performances and the toilet / shower facilities which were in poor repair.

Good bands BUT the sound/PA was absolutely terrible, the mics kept breaking, the sound kept fading in and out and not all the instruments were being heard, so many technical issues. It's a shame for the bands that the back up team were simply not up to the Job. A lot of money for a poor venue.

We had s brilliant day/night on Saturday for our friends 60th Birthday, the bands were great and loved Bon Jovi tribute band at the end, will definitely be coming back next year😁?'?
