The glamping was not advertised really disappointed and the toilet facilities in the club house and around the site are in a very poor way

Review of West Mid Showground,

First and probably last visit to this event! Having spoken to people who visited last year, it appears numbers attending were much higher this year. Observations:
1) Nice friendly atmosphere
2) Showground is not fit for purpose, tired, poor facilities, skeleton staff results in bins overflowing, toilets overflowing, camping facilities totally inadequate for number of Campers attending
3). Sound quality for the majority of acts was awaful resulting in a disjointed programme of tribute artists, reduced music sets and long periods of waiting - particularly uncomfortable on Saturday when the weather was poor
4). This could be a really excellent Event - however it needs a major overhaul in a number of areas for next year as I believe there were far too many negatives despite the full weekend tickets being well priced

Too long setting up between artists speaker should be higher to go over people at the front also artists should be shown on the screen more often so everyone can see The Stereotonics singer used the f word several times when there were children in the audience

Needs better signage ,lots more bins and more toilets in the arena , toilets outside very basic , not enough showers
Some music excellent some was awful
Sound issues need sorting out , sound engineers worked hard but it all took so long to sort out
An ice cream van would do well
Enjoyed the weekend ,lovely staff but some artists were disappointing
Day visitors told us prices too high
Stage could be angled slightly so more people can see the artists

Brilliant family and dog friendly festival.
would have been so much better if the sound issues were sorted. it seems if the artists were singing to backing tapes it was OK., but if they actually played instruments the sound engineer had problems. would have also liked more acts on the Friday and Sunday. The food vendors were OK but not loads of choice. This could be a fantastic festival if tweaked a little and sound issues were sorted

Sound system very poorly set up, too much delay between artists. Sundays artists superb apart from Tina Turner. Dustbins all overflowing. Only the main bar open through the day, understaffed. Toilets not very good, look at Warner group as to how to run an event.

Absolutely loved every minute shame about the rain but it didn't dampen our spirits. Camp site was great, easy access in and out and everyone so friendly and respectful of others. Lovely friendly family festival, wish they were all this good.

great weekend despite music issues
was told flat and boarded for disabled it was not and difficult to move around on stones also last day security need to do something about all people setting up camp for day where people dance maybe caution it off night before so there is actually room to dance

A great weekend with a fantastic friendly vibe.
Music generally excellent ( not everything to my taste).
BUT:
The stage could do with being a few feet higher.
The Sound needs sorting! Terrible mic problems throughout the weekend.
Camp facilities: bins overflowing! Need checking & emptying daily. Chemical toilet facilities appalling. Blocking and or overflowing very slow to drain. Needs a major sewer line upgrade at all disposal points.
Otherwise a very good weekend.
