What a truly amazing evening! Always knew these very special artists would be excellent but not being locals and part of the Club it was difficult to know how well we would be received. Absolutely no problems as everyone was warm, welcoming and friendly from the moment of arrival. Skiddle ticket system easy to use. Will look out for any other interesting event for which there will be no hesitation to make a further booking. Thanks very much all round for a perfect evening!

Excellent band. I didn't think I was that big a reggae fan but I am now. The band were amazing and really got the crowd going. Brilliant night out, the venue and the food were excellent.

The music was too loud and a lot of shouting by the actors. The voice systems were outdated so the sound was overpowering. The venue could be updated. Also the kitchen service was very slow with over 45 minutes turn around time.

Stage act nothing to do with Sleeping Beauty, children got bored after 35 minutes, because they were walking around.🙁👎

I was enjoying the evening very much until the 'brawl' at 11.20 p.m. which very sadly brought a great night to a premature end.

I have never seen a 'supermarket-style' queuing system at a bar before. As is often the case in my local supermarket I chose the wrong queue! The system would probably have worked better - and there certainly would have been a shorter wait time - if the venue had engaged more bar staff and opened two extra 'lanes' at the far left. Instead the shutter was down on this section of the bar, and chairs and tables had placed directly in front of it.

The Organiser told me that a Social Club staff member - who was fully aware how long they had been drinking in the Club - let the rugby lads in without his knowledge. The staff have apologised and asked him to hold another event here.

The security staff, provided by the Club, were useless and could not see people with drinks on the dance floor 'right under their noses'. "Should have gone to Specsavers" came to mind!

I really hope that Solihull Got Soul holds a second event at this excellent venue, and would say don't be put off by the brawling - it won't happen again.

A fight took place so our evening was cut short. Up until that point it seemed to be good. Strange queueing system at the bar. Bar area was too small. Might be an idea to remove some of the tables that were so close.

Nice venue and the music was brilliant but the night was cut short by about 40 mins due to a party of lads who came from another room and caused a mass brawl, uncessary behaviour and ruined the night. Don't know how they were allowed in as it was supposed to be ticket only.

Amazing selection of vinyl records, plenty to please everybody. A good night until a mass brawl broke out, it was like something out of a old western movie. (apparently the venue had let in two local rugby teams). Brought the night to a early finish.

Sadly the event was spoilt by a fight but this is very unusual for this venue and these kind of events. Those thst were fighting were out for a Christmas party and not the usual soul crowd. Up until that time I had a great might with great music.
