Review of The Dualers
Great Evening,great music,the event was let down by the lack of bar staff. The down stairs bar had one poor guys serving with a crowd five deep trying to get served. They had run out of drought beer and they were serving wine in mini bottles without a glass. 1865 venue seriously needs to review its operation.

Review of The Dualers
We have been waiting a long time to see the Dualers as their gigs always sell out so fast but it was definitely worth the wait. The band were amazing, their tight sound was incredible and their obvious enjoyment of the music they produce provided an infectious atmosphere. 9 incredibly talented musicians creating an awesome sound together, drawing in their audience and holding us for the entire 1 and a half hour of energetic performance. They deserve to be commanding a higher ticket price to fully recognise their talent.
The support band (Orange Street) were also great. Very engaging with the audience, their fun set of covers and originals provided a great party atmosphere to "get the crowd going".
The venue was a good size, giving an intimacy to the performance, and allowing reasonable views for all and the light and sound was fab. There was a little (mostly good natured) jostling on the dance floor as many (myself included) sang and danced along to most of the set. The security staff at the venue were polite and helpful the only negatives I would offer were the service time at the bar and the danger of allowing people to watch from the staircase at the rear.
We were told the majority (if not all) the bar staff were new - perhaps not that sensible at a sell out gig with, I would estimate, around 800 people attending. Also, the smaller (cash only) bar had a single member of staff trying to cope with a large crowd with very reduced stock causing much frustration and resulting in people being allowed to take drinks in glass bottles onto the dance floor (an obvious safety hazard), whereas those purchased at the main bar were all poured into plastic cups.
A couple of people appeared to spend most of the performances watching from the stairs (the same two were there every time we went to the main bar) and then seemed surprised when those trying to use the rails to assist their walk up, accidentally bumped into them. Again another safety issue.
However, all in all, we had a great night and would not hesitate to recommend the band to all our friends. In light of the inexperience of the bar staff that was highlighted to us, we would also give the venue a return visit to allow them the opportunity to serve with a higher degree of confidence as this was the only thing that really let down our experience of the event.

As ever great set by dualers but venue really is down beat with nowhere near enuf experienced bar staff beer ran out after two hours n very little choice of anything. Carpets r sticky n dangerous stairs n the toilets well that’s another story. They made a packet but there’s def no reinvest money!! Shame. Go dualers tonight up close n personal in local pub will be there

Review of The Dualers
The band were good but I felt they weren't on for long enough. And the venue was so packed and full of old blokes who seemed to have a problem with everyone and everything. The venue ran out of certain drinks too.
