What a fantastic festival. It was so easy to find the event and park, the staff were so friendly and helpful. They have places to get your tea and have a drink which was very useful as the gig started at 6.30. When you entered the event the staff were so helpful. The main room it looked and felt fantastic. The act itself Ben Elton what can you say! He was awesome , just as funny as he was in the late 80s. Leaving the event was no trouble at all and left with a belly full of laughs. The Southport Comedy Festival seems to be getting bigger and better each year my only wish is to have more.

I was really looking forward to this and I wasn't disappointed! Ben Elton was absolutely hilarious at the Southport Comedy Festival. Unapologetic and thought provoking! Very funny - thought the woman next to me was going to choke, she was laughing that hard! Loved it.
