Review of Outdoor Funk & Soul Festival comes to Southport!
On my ticket even on the day it still stated TBA on venue..... a family member on the late afternoon told me where it was being held as they live in Southport. Then to find that they sold tickets for less than what I paid for mine, as it was less than half sold is infuriating. The staff was helpful and friendly but as much as I enjoyed it; at the admin end Skiddle. I do not think I will book anything again with them!

Honestly had one of the best days of my life. Met so many amazing people and despite it lashing down it didn't stop anyone. Cheap tickets ?... boss sets ?... what more could you ask for :)

Friday was a wash out drinks were far too expensive the music was good friendly atmosphere The Saturday unable to take a chair in music was awful lots of kids off their faces walked in and straight out again not friendly wonât bother with Sunday due to bad forecast

Great atmosphere, music was brilliant. Unfortunately there was no schedule and we missed a lot of Norman j set (who we were there to see) with the rain headline djs should've been moved to tent. Where 90% of the people where.

All information given was last minute & the last entry time changed from 5pm to 6pm! Why did the location of the event need to be kept a secret until last minute ?! All of this led to a poor turnout of people.

Paid for vip couldn't use it waste of money show started 30 minutes after schedule took day off work but was not needed as show didn't start till after 6pm

Paid for VIP which was a caged area away from stage no Bar open. Bar prices were extortionate & many food trucks not open. Stage closed early as very small audience plus DJ's (Fat Tony etc) didn't show up. Craig Charles was fabulous as usual.

1. Great mistake to state no entry after 5:00 pm when festival started at 4:00 pm!
2. Different timings given on various websites 4:00-8:00 pm and 4:00-10:00 pm.
3. It rained and revellers were ripped off with charges of £5:00 for a "bin bag" plastic poncho!
