Review of Oktoberfest Southport
The only resemblance to the original Oktoberfest was the beer. Felt like I was at a children's party with the music that was played by the 'bavarian stompers'. Tediously did a German toast every five minutes, as it was probably the only German they knew. Why we had to pay for that entertainment then pay over the odds for food and drink, is beyond me. Have learnt my lesson and will not be attending again!!!

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival! - Southport
The event should have been cancelled as others have said it was pure greed as they did not want to give refund.I believe we are still owed a refund as the event was delayed until 1.30pm and the main stage was closed at 5.30pm due to the weather. So for me it was not a positive experience as the bands I really wanted to see did not play. Why was there no contingency plan in the event of bad weather like a second marquee?
I contacted look a like have been told won't get a refund but they are working behind the scenes to get the best resolution and I will receive an email in the coming weeks. Not sure if this will automatically go to everyone like it should I messaged look a like through their Facebook page .

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival! - Southport
It should have been cancelled
You let everyone in buying food & drinks but the stage was half a mile away & there were no acts on the main stage from about 3.15 until about 5pm when we left! There was no update & nobody to ask (only security who said they didn’t know what was happening). The weather was obviously not your fault but given the state of the park/grass & the forecast for rain all day it should have been cancelled- we can dress accordingly for the weather but did not pay to listen a playlist of random songs - where were the acts/bands on the main stage ??
