Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival! - Southport
I wouldn't actually say this event happened. We stood in the rain for nearly 2hrs waiting to get in. Delayed start time. To then find the main stage closed. All the best acts cancelled. Playing music through the speaks not really a festival. Absolutely disgusted no one available on the day to discuss a refund. Fobbed off send an email. The event should have been cancelled. Finished nearly 3 hrs early because no acts to watch. Waste of time. Very disappointed.

Although weather was unpredictable, the late opening, and early cancellation of bands, and ultimately the event was not as advertised. Only a few bands played compared to schedule, but the event went ahead purely so they didn’t say it was cancelled so that they would have to refund. How does delaying the opening, and cancelling after a few hours differ from breach of contract that the event you bought a ticket for, and attended, was not what was advertised! I hope some compensation solution is automatically offered, otherwise the reputation of reliability of future events will not be good, and ultimately die a slow death from no support or trust in advance ticket purchases. It may have been a washout, but the events response to those who supported the event should not be a money grabbing event in return !

What a disaster of a show this should of been cancelled couldn't believe they made everyone stand around for over 2 hours to then decide weather was too bad to continue pure greed from organisers everyone should be refunded for this worst event I have ever attended by the way don't bother getting v.i.p tickets there's no point to them

Wow.. where to start. Wet... cold.. no bands. Everything was so waterlogged you couldn't use anything or even watch or listen to anything.
It got postponed till 1.30pm then with no one playing till nearly the end. 3 songs in.. all artists etc cancelled. Which was a few hours later.
Overpriced.. vip ticket. What a joke. Plus hotel booked round the corner.
Total waste of money.
Can't even get the money back on the extra insurance I took out as they need documents etc etc.
Wish I hadn't bothered. But they won't refund as the festival still went on. Even though it was only for a few hours.

What a disaster. An absolutely shambolic event. No bands on main stage. Under age drinking everywhere. Not enough bins. Not a show at all. Waiting for a refund and an apology.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival! - Southport
Appalling, the event on Sunday should have been cancelled. We booked VIP tickets to this event to attend with our friends, one of whom is on crutches. We booked VIP so she didn't have to wait in queues. We also booked based on the fantastic line up advertised, (however a lot of these acts did not appear on final set list and we only heard one band play a few songs in the end). We arrived first, and were told at the entrance that there was no VIP entrance to the event, until we got inside the park. The queue at this point stretched to the other entrance to Victoria Park. I asked officials there specifically where was the accessible entrance for those with a disability. They said to queue as the VIP lane was inside the park. On telling our friends this they planned to turn round to go home - 80 miles away. We joined the queue and when we eventually got in an official in the VIP lane, said our friend could come to the front of the queue at the main gate. By the time they arrived and we went in we were confronted with a quagmire. The VIP area was unimpressive, mostly underwater with no better view of stage, so definitely not worth extra payment. We decided to make the best of the great British weather and enjoy the music and time together. However we sat in the driving rain, sodden, listening to a DJ with little information about why there was a long wait for acts to appear, eventually saw Fleetwood Mac from an absurd distance, ankle deep in floodwater, before the Main Stage was shut down for safety reasons. £6 a drink, and the tent stage was rammed and inaccessible so after an hour of queuing and about 2 and a half hours of sitting waiting for something to happen, we left because the acts we came to see were cancelled with the main stage being shut down. We were seriously cold and wet (which we could cope with) but now there was no music, so miserable. No I can't recommend funnily enough. I expect to be refunded. We also paid out for hotels and took annual leave cos we travelled to this debacle.
