Great festival loved every minute. Brilliant bands, could of done with more gluten free options for food and more toilets and place for washing up when camping would of been good.
But overall a super time!

Good all round event.,as always though toilets disgusting! No toilet paper alot of the time, and what looks like feces all up the walls!. Catering was awful.....good food but not enough, queues of about an hour, very frustrating.

This was the best time i have had in a long time. Reliving youth! Didnt mind getting crushed by the skinheads up at the front to Bad manners...Hillarious!
No disrespect to the standin for Big Country but didnt enjoy the chap. If he did a few jokes or story telling in between his songs, he might of been ok. He killed some of the songs and killed some of the crowd to disappear offsite to the Jolly Fisherman pub(we had our Sunday dinner there due to overpriced grub onsite) up the road. He just sang songs that i couldnt understand or hear the words.
Maybe a lookalike or Tribute band would of been ideal.

Eating places/stalls extortion and mediocre. Security staff were lovely and helpful. Maybe it would be good also for St.Margarets train station to run another 2 trains into London on Sundays for events like this. Negotiate with Greater Anglia. Last train to London was 22.47 which meant had to put mobile on timer vibrate to remind to leave a bit early on 'Happy Mondays' . I will have to see Happy Mondays again now.
The merchandise stalls were not all that great. Out of stock on sizes...

Plenty of decent bands from my era. Doesn't aim to be a huge festival, making it a more relaxed atmosphere, with easy access to all the essentials, toilets, catering etc. If the same standard of groups were playing next year would certainly go again.

Great few days away with great bands great atmosphere well organised not bad prices .
Could do with lighting for toilets in the arena need more showers that work at peak times .

Overall a great festival offering good life music but suffered from lack of facilities given the number of campers and general public due mainly to limited number toilets and not enough food & drinks stalls which lead to long queues (40+ mins for a coffee). Given we were there for the life music it was frustrating to wait in long queues for food and drink. However the festival itself and the atmosphere was great. One suggestion is to make the DJ's more interactive with the crowd in between each set as there were moments when the atmosphere dropped waiting for the next band to start their set.

Great music and atmosphere.
Could have done with a better range of food options, less queueing for drinks and better shower/toilet facilities for campers.
All in all, a great event for the price.

Although I have given this a thumbs down review this is only because of the facilities.ie. Water taps where a mere trickle most of the time. Toilets were filthy, water pumps not working, massive queues at showers, also as at other venues it would been advantageous to buy a beer cup to keep and use instead of waste plastic cups strewn everywhere.
Rant over.

This was our first time at Stone Valley. We had great weekend and saw some fantastic bands. I would recommend this festival , it was fun, friendly and good value. As with any review there were a couple of negatives:- The showers - there were a reasonable amount but no water pressure meaning less than half could be used. The organisers were aware but no fix during the weekend. The use of reusable cups at the bar where you pay a deposit which is refundable would have greatly decreased the amount of waste generated. We forgot a couple of things for camping so it would be good to have a shop that sold a few essential items for campers.
