Review of Stone Valley Festival South
The music great. Campsite needed more facilities plus recycling for rubbish. More Elsan disposal units. Fantastic value for money but more stalls and food outlets needed. The bars coped much better after day one. Open fires in the campsites should be restricted to small bbqs & gas cooking.

Very enjoyable. Friendly people. Good music. Few downsides - queues to register, showers, and some toilets. But nothing to put us off for next year. Thanks for all the organisation.

Amazing weekend. Absolutely loved it. Already looking at coming again next year.
The only criticisms I have are, 1. Not enough food outlets, 2. Toilet cubicles need emptying/cleaning more regularly and 3. Why only start issuing wristbands for the entertainment area once the first band were already on stage. The 2 hour queue could have been avoided. Thousands of us had been there for hours when we could have collected them.
However, overall a superb festival.

Bands were amazing and value was second to none.
The venue was ok but not enough water, too few toilets, toilets not emptied enough, not enough hand sanitizer, no bins in the camping area, the few showers available were pitiful. Only one small breakfast place that was overwhelmed and ran out of food at 10am on day one.
The initial queue for wristbands was a disaster withonly one person issuing them which resulted in a two -three hour wait for some people!
There were long queue’s at the food stalls who also ran out. The vendors told us that they were told to expect 3,000 people and 6,000 were actually there.
So although we had a great time the organisation of the facilities sucked!!!

A good, small SKA, two tone festival over a three-day period. One or two big names each day with 1980s and 1990s bands who can still put on an excellent show - Bad Manners, being particularly good. One stage; two bars with a couple of cask IPAs (no draught, if that’s important to you); and a good variety of festival food. Definitely very good value for money. Probably needs a festival bus to ferry people to and from Ware station.

Great weekend of great music!
The staff checking tickets & bags were really variable - one day they didn’t even check my ticket & it wasn’t till last day that I was asked to get a wristband. Also there were no Covid checks per email info.
The toilets were nearly always out of flush solution, so they were pretty unpleasant.
Some additional food stalls would have been great too.

Not enough toilets or cleaned frequently enough. Definitely not enough showers for the amount of people attending. Need to put some toilets and showers in the camping end of the field.
Bands spot on. All food stands fairly priced with plenty of choice to suit everyone .

Great venue with terrific organisation. Fairly priced drinks, and the food all looked great. Toilets could have done with a clean by Sunday morning. More waste bins would also have been good. Sensible, mature security was also good

Friday was awful - queues for hours and then the bar queue was horrendous! The wine was horrendous- I don’t mind paying £22..50 if it’s drinkable! It tasted rank - was a bit annoyed that there was no alternative! Food was a joke too. Should have had many many more options as promised.
Sat abs Sunday was better - brought own food, and no queue to get in. Wine was still rank so stuck to beer. You would have made more money having better food vans and decent wine!

The price of the tickets were fantastic considering the amazing line up and they didn’t disappoint. prices for beer and food little pricey but I think that’s the norm now ,toilets well I don’t think I need to tell you it was a festival after all lol but we’re cleaned daily, showers need to improve kept breaking down and there wasn’t enough of them this needs addressing.staff and security were very professional helpful and nothing was to much for them well done to them all.on the hole fantastic venue fantastic festival as some Hollywood acter said I’ll be back.
