Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
This event was very much overpriced for what we received after queing up outside to be put in a room i can only describe as a holding pen with very limited bar cans of pepsi £5 which is disgusting, then got to go around the hotel into strange rooms with non scary actors, with no storyline, the only thing i was scared of was falling over in the pitch black trying to negotiate steps with my walking stick i was not informed it was not suitable for disabled people which is againt the law by the way. Then we ended up in the field where live music was promised. I would not call a woman on stage performing karaoke is live music, and she wax not even a good singer. Another marquee where cans of drink were still £5 even london isnt that expensive, there were about 3 toilets none of which i could access as not disabled friendly. But my daughter informed me they were filthy no toilet paper and some didnt even have seats. Was promised a fairground 3 rides?! All £5 a go, qued up to get our marshmallows to have the van door shut in our faces saying they had closed. 2 food vans obviously overpriced as im sure they had to pay alot of money to be there. Extremely disappointing, i would appreciate a call from the organiser my tel is 07938122432, would like a reimbursement on my tick*t as i could not access the toilet even.

had to wait in queue for 30 mins after tick*ted time and was in large group going through the maze so it lacked scary atmosphere, there weren't many jump scares it was just moving from one scene to another, ambience just wasn't there, once out of the maze the attractions in the grounds were fairly minimal and there weren't many people there to create a fun bustling atmosphere there were just small groups here and there, wasn't much in the way of activities and stage entertainment was pretty much like someone doing karaoke

Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
This is not a scary or creepy experience for scare seekers as advertised. It is, however, a good immersive theactrical acting experience, more like The London Dungeons . Scare factor is 1/5. Parking can be found at Sun street which is a pleasant 5 minute walk away. Staff were very kind & approachable (all except a very rude man in a waistcoat named Luke) who thought letting his friends in ahead of us after us cueing for 25mins was acceptable, but, there's always one! Worth a visit bearing in mind was the 1st event so we will visit again next year! Thanks guys

Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
The maze itself around the hotel was really good with some good jump scares.... unfortunately it was very quick.
The organisation before hand was poor though. Were are told to sit in a room with a bar and wait...but nobody told us how long we would be waiting - long enough to get a drink or not ? The health and safety talk was pointless as couldn't here a thing the guy was saying.
The entertainment bit afterwards was poor. Only entertainment was a very bad singer singing pop songs and it was dead, hardly anybody there. The bar was very badly organised and expensive for warm cans out of a box bought at the supermark*t.
So much wasted potential to have some good entertainment. They not have some Halloween themed entertainment - iv been to similar events before and they actors walking around interacting with guests, fire jugglers, fire eaters, Halloween music playing.
The advertised fair ground rounds was just one
All in pretty expensive for a poor show

Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
We took the kids on Saturday and it was brilliant. My kids were scared and had fun. We was in a group of 10 and didn't have to wait long to go in. Very organised indeed. We were running for a life in there 😂😂😂 love the fact you're walking around the hotel. Great actors, spot on for the price it was so much fun. Well done ?'?🏻 I will be back again next year for the maze for sure. The pop up bit outside was very overpriced and limited. Axe throwing was great 😊 thank you A Nightmare at The Priory

Actors 100% 10 out 10
Not long enough we went round in 20 mins and for the price of the tick*ts that not long enough.
Need a lot more scare actors people jumping out etc.
Over all for a first attempt not bad.
I've been to lots of different scare nights
Loved the story line and actors brilliant.
Just needs more.
