Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
Fantastic night out! Amazing maze touring the hotel, very talented actors perming incredible roles that were really eerie and terrifying at times. We had a really fun time.
The rides and fair at the end were fun! Very decently priced rides and activities. Free marshmallows was such a smart idea and very tasty! The only problem was when we finished the maze at about 10pm, many of the food stalls were closed and the axe throwing and pumpkin carving were closed, I get that the axe throwing on the dark is quite dangerous but most adults would have booked evening slots, so much missed opportunity there.
All in all, a fantastic experience and a really good Halloween activity!

Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
All the actors and indoor entertainment at hitchin priory hotel was phenomenal.
However the outdoors area, could have some improvements like:
Actors walking around outside
Cash and Card options-
One of the fair ground stalls was cash only and nobody was able to use it
Some of the rides/stalls (axe throwing and ghost train and golf ) had people who didn't turn up to man them and therefore it was just empty which didn't look great !
The bars were good but there wasn't many options for wine.
Overall the experience was great and the stalls were friendly ! The actors were great and for the first year of the event it was a wonderful evening !

Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
Hour to wait ,took 20 mins to complete was rushed through the actors started talking before we got in the room so missed most most of the plot . Not scary only a few people jumping out . We were put in a group with much younger people who were rude and ruined what was already a disappointing night . For £25 pounds was a rip off . Have been to much better priced scare mazes that were actually scary and entertaining. Would not recommend

Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
Having never done one of these before, I no idea on what to expect. It was disappointing. At no time did anything feel scary. Almost every room had "it was supposed to be different this time.......get out". Way overpriced. Will not be returning. Friends that have done scare mazes before also said this was by far the worst they'd every been to

Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
Not worth £30. No jump scares throughout. Most of the actors had finished their little scenes before the whole group had got into the room or through to the stairs. It felt like we were rushed through it. Having been to other events similar to this, I was expecting much more for the price. The courtyard was practically empty between 8-9pm on a Friday as most people left straight after the event. Very disappointed.

Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
Absolutely mind-blowing! From the moment you step foot inside you're transported into a world of pure horror and suspense. The attention to detail is impeccable; every corner, creak, and flickering light feels like part of a real-life nightmare.
The actors are incredible, truly bringing the story to life. Their performances are so intense and realistic that, at times, I found myself forgetting it was all just part of the experience. They interact with you in ways that are both terrifying and thrilling.
The entire maze is brilliantly designed to be both immersive and unpredictable. Every room offers som**hing new and unsettling.
This was easily one of the best scare attractions I've ever been to, and I can't wait to come back every year!

Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
It was a lot of fun and the scaremaze actors were AMAZING! Lot of interaction and definitely an enjoyable experience if you let yourself be submerged in the moment. The roasted marshmallows is a lovely touch.

Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
Very good start for their first time but way too short, not scary enough, needs more jump scares- did love the interaction and participation- just needed much more, the story didn't make sense or end? Liked the activity's afterwards but for nearly £30 expected a lot more for the money- we are seasoned pros though!

Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
Decorations leading to the entrance were great.
Waiting times/queues were well organised.
The pop up could have been better there was only one ride for teens/adults and one for children, prices were quite high and there was no real atmosphere could have done with some actors around to take photos with etc.
The maze itself was ok, actors were great but there should have been more for example on the beds in the doctors part as patients etc instead of mannequins ,more jump scares. Decorations were great, could have lasted a bit longer for the cost of tick*ts.
More photo opportunities and maybe some merchandising.
Room for improvement but overall not a bad experience.
