Review of Buxton Comic Con

For the price of entry I expected a lot more.  There weren’t very many stalls and the ones that were there were all very much the same and some of the stall holders didn’t appear to be the friendliest. The children enjoyed their trick or treat bags so that kept them entertained, however in the hour and a half we were there we managed to circle the event 3 or 4 times and that included taking time at each stall and making some purchases. The characters attending were good and posed happily for pictures with the children but all in all not a great amount of stuff to do for the price of entry. It needs some serious evaluation of the price or needs a lot more entertainment / things to do / stalls. 

The stalls were good, what the show offered was good, however the whole experience for £11 a ticket was not good value. I would say between £5-£8 would have been better.

My kids and I really enjoyed Buxton Comic con Halloween 2021. It was a friendly atmosphere and Devonshire dome was a great venue for the event. My kids really enjoyed dressing up to go and then meeting all the characters and having photos with all the themed scenery. There were lots of stalls to browse. The kids enjoyed going to each one for the trick or treat. I'd go again. 

Would benefit from more guests being there but I 7nderstand that this was the first one since covid so that would've been hard to do. Overall a good small convention especially good for taking a child for there first 1. 

Fantastic event, very well planned. The guys in costumes were all brilliant with the kids as were the traders. We all had a great time.

Event was good but needs more stalls selling good products and not like car boot stalls ,was really good about 5years ago and has slowly got worse its a shame cause it could be a whole lot better 

the event was really good for people of all ages . my children and by husband had a lovely day and will be attending the next one. we would highly recommend Ã°ÂŸÂ‘ÂÃ°ÂŸÂ‘Â

Great venue, friendly people, loved the owls, gloey slime and the props.

Devonshire Dome

The Devonshire Dome, one of the most dramatic spaces in Britain and the largest unsupported dome in Europe. Built in 1779 by the 5th Duke of Devonshire, this magnificent Grade II* listed building has dominated the Buxton skyline ever since.
