Review of Macclesfield Festival Soul II Soul Heather Small M People
£27.50 would’ve bought me a ticket into the Cheshire show Hickstead and I just felt that the facilities were very poor the food stands where extremely expensive and very poor unless you like chips burgers sausage chips burgers sausage chips burgers sausage prices were extortionate missed the band I wanted to see because of the long wait with no explanation they needed to go to the loo when the band were playing to spend the whole set of queueing from a filthy dirty toilet no Free parking and to top it all some stupid kids playing football near the food stands hit my sister on the head with a ball resulting in a tooth missing and concussion and then a whole load of s**t round the gate about whether or not we could come back because we hadn’t been stamped not told about the stamp maybe The organisers ought to try other festivals and see how they run because Bollington festival had enough toilets friendly staff organised When I told a member of staff about the head incident he shrugged and said he do something when his mate got back with the phone please ....

Review of Macclesfield Festival Soul II Soul Heather Small M People
We booked VIP tickets. We arrived at 17.45 The Gate staff could not find any wristbands and eventually managed to make up two "tatty" second hand ones. There was no VIP car Park or VIP bus which was advertised on your site.
We were really only interested in the music and went especially to see Heather Small. We got to see several very average groups . There were various delays the reasons for which were not communicated to the spectators.
At 21.00 when Heather Small was due on some of her band appeared on stage. nothing then happened until 21.45 when Heather appeared with some comments about a "technical problem".
Her first three songs were terrible sound quality. at 21.55 all was correct but "curfew" time of 22.00 meant that she had to finish. She went on until 22.10 in fact.
This meant that we paid £50 each for 20 minutes of her music at full quality!!!
The stage was so far from the balcony that it was only possible to see the performers on the screens which were small. The fireworks were round the corner from the balcony so we missed them. There was no communication at all to tell us.
I think that you should refund our ticket money.
