Review of Stockport Music Story 10cc Plaque & Strawberry Studios Tour
John Barrett as usual was brilliant, what he doesn't know isn't worth knowing... meeting Peter Tatterstall and Dr Peter too made the studio's come to life again...?the history of Strawberry needs to be publicised , it's incredible.. Peter T's memories and stories alone were worth going. We're looking forward to John's next event, can't wait !

Absolutely brilliant. John who organised this is so passionate about what he does. A really interesting tour with great input from all who were involved. The food at the Red Bull was fantastic too.

Review of Stockport Music Map Walking Tour
Really enjoyed the music map walk. John had lots to say very friendly and knowledgeable about the music scene in Stockport. Plus he had two speakers to help with any information he didn’t know. The museum at the end of the walk was great. Enjoyed the coffee and biscuits at the end. Highly recommended x

Review of Stockport Music Map Walking Tour
Great Tour. Really interesting walking tour presented by the charismatic John who obviously has great knowledge about the history of music in Stockport. Would definitely recommend attending this. I thought the Strawberry studios exhibition in Stockport museum was great. Finished off with a tea n biscuits and a good chat with guide and author Mick Middles.

Review of Stockport Music Map Walking Tour
An informative and interesting tour. Though it was to finish at 3pm, at 3.20pm I had to leave as the Q and A session was still going on, (just for info). The enthusiasm and experience from John, Mick and Peter, the bacon butty at the Red Bull beforehand and the tea/coffee and biscuits at Stockport Museum (well worth a visit in itself)! at the end made for a lovely afternoon.

A very entertaining and informative music tour. I've lived in Stockport all my life and I found out things I'd never known. Very well organised. John and his 2 guests were great.

Review of Stockport Music Map Walking Tour
Just brilliant. John and Rosemary put so much passion and energy into what they do, and John has so much knowledge of Manchester music he is an absolute joy to listen to. The Joy Division walking tour in July was so enjoyable, and to have Paul Slattery on it to was amazing. Really can't recommend this highly enough.

Review of Stockport Music Map Walking Tour
A thoroughly enjoyable tour of Stockport Joy Division and general historical music related places. Our guides John and Peter were most engaging and a veritable mine of information on the area, the former Strawberry Studios in particular. The three hour tour culminating in a talk, book signing and viewing of Paul Slattery’s iconic photos of Joy Division from 1979. Lovely to meet the man in person. I would highly recommend these tours from John and Rosemary at Seven Miles Out Records and I look forward to attending the next one.
